Below is an approximate time line for applying and participating in the TU Olympic Academic Experience in Rio, 2016.

2015 PRE-ACTIVITIES

• Sept 20  - Deadline for $500 deposit 
• Oct 1 - Participants notified & sent official contract
• Oct 5 - Conference Call [Q & A]
• Oct 10 - Signed contract due with payment of $1500  (Total pd = $2000)
• November 15 - Airline Confirmation - Payment due $1000 (Total pd = $3000)

2016  PRE-ACTIVITIES

• Feb 15 - Payment due - $1200 (Total pd = $4200)
• April 15 - Final Payment due ($0 or $1000 = $4200 or $5200)
• May 15 - Hybrid Course Opens - Academic Assignments Available
• May 23 - Conference Call [Q & A]
• July 1 - Website Link Due

2016 TRIP DATES

• Aug 3 - Depart for Brazil
• Aug 4 - Arrival to Brazil - Group Outing / Meal & Torch Run
• Aug 5 - Tour & Central location for Opening Ceremonies
• Aug 6 - Free to Attend Games or Travel Brazil Railways to Beaches, etc
• Aug 9 - A Humanitarian Day of Giving - Olympic Reunion Center (TBD)
• Aug 12 - Tour of USA Olympic House & Afrcian Olympic Village (TBD)
• August 17 - Depart Brazil for USA

2016 POST ACTIVITIES

• August 21 - Closing Ceremonies
• August 28 - All Academic Assignments due
