Program Cost

Transfer Students: $5200
TU Students* / Alumni* / Fellows: $4200

Payment will include airfare (between a central hub in the mid-west (USA) and Brazil. Also included are accommodations (TBD), airport transportation, selected tours, tuition for MGT390 (undergraduate) or MGT690 (graduate) , and transcript fees. The price difference reflects that international students will not be provided airfare and fellows / alumni will not pay tuition.

*TU Students: Tuition must be applied to your normal (18-credit hour) full-time schedule in the fall or spring.  Otherwise, you will receive a bill from the university if it is a summer or additional class. Financial aid questions should be directed to Andrea Faber at the University.

*Alumni: Alumni refers to anyone who attended a previous TU Olympic Academic Experience who will not be participating in the course.

WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE COST
Olympic event tickets / Passport / Travel Visa / Daily Meals / Personal Daily Ground Transport

ALL participants are responsible for securing their own tickets to attend Olympic events. Tickets can be purchased through the CoSport website. Information is also available at http://www.rio2016.com/en/get-involved/tickets. Costs (not including opening/closing ceremonies) typically range from US $50-$400. The Torch Run, Cycling, and Road Racing are free events. Participants who apply and are accepted as official volunteers of the Rio Olympic Games will have access (limited) to almost every event!


Deposits will be held until contracts are signed/accepted. Checks should be made payable to Tiffin University Olympics and sent to the attention of Dr. Bonnie Tiell, Tiffin University * 155 Miami St * Tiffin,, OH 44883 * USA. Credit card information will be accepted.
